Comparison of RPG Character Mecanim Animation Pack vs Movement Animset Pro vs Ultimate Animation Collection vs Amplify Animations Pack vs Mega Animations Pack vs Polygonamker.

I want a set of animations for my villagers. Why does it have to be so hard?

There are so many things my villagers must do

The problem with animation sets is that most games only care about combat, so that is where most sets focus. I want a set which covers a whole set of use cases I’ll cover below. and I want to be able to spend as little as possible (of course)

I have an extensive list of things I’d like my villagers to be able to do. Skip to the end to see a list of the features in various different assets.

Could I find everything I need, in a single set?

I’ve been comparing some sets from the store that are intended for Humanoid NPC’s – either big packs of sets where you need to buy multiple assets. Here’s what I’ve discovered, to save you some legwork.

Of course, nothing is ever easy…

Right now the Unity Asset Store is having it’s black Friday sale which was the reason I started shopping today. How do the assets stack up during the sale?
